Stepping off of the plane onto new ground, being hit in the face with a cold brisk sheet of Nepali wind, burying my nose into the neck of my hoodie; the first moments of Nepal I will always cherish.
For the past month I’ve been living with 30 girls in a pink, four-story building we gladly call our home. We may not have heat or hot running water, but my sleeping bag and Amanda sleeping next to me seems to keep the shivers away. During our time here we’ve gotten to create relationships with our host and his family. The first day we arrived for ministry they took us up a mountain over looking the city, on the way up we stopped to worship together and sit in the Lord’s presence. Once we reached the top of the mountain we began to pray over the city and the lives that we would come in contact with. We each placed a rock at the top with a word written on it that we wanted to see in Nepal. The word I wrote was “free”, I want freedom for people of Nepal that are in chains. Chains or regret, chains of pain, chains of sadness, chains of lies. We may not always see the fruit that we plant in people grow, but the Lord sees it and I believe He sees people being freed from their chains.

Our days here consist of visiting and praying over people in the slums, preaching at churches, seeking women in prostitution, serving food to street kids, and walking down the streets listening for what the Lord has for us that day. On Friday nights we come together at our hosts home and fellowship over food, worship and testimonies. This is a time of rest and celebration in the Lord.

We’re coming up on our second month in this beautiful country, and my team and I will soon be leaving our pink home to live in a new community with a new family.

Thank you to all of my supporters, this journey would not be possible without all of you. Please continue to pray for my team and I as we build the kingdom and spread love for the last 4 months.

Also, I AM OFFICIALLY FULLY FUNDED!!!!! Thank you to everyone who has made this happen, your support has been changing lives.
