Welcome weary traveler! You’ve stumbled upon my blog! No doubt I prompted you but nonetheless… YOU ARE HERE!!! YAYYYY!!

Wow here I am with a blog. I’m ecstatic! And must admit I never saw this coming, yet here we are! God sure does have a sense of humor 😉

First, who am I? Good question! My name is Emma Briner, a soon to be world traveler who has taken root in Columbia, Missouri!
             A little about myself:
It began with my dream. The dream planted by God that started it all. I was probably about 5 or 6 years old (give or take) when I started dreaming…. I was going to plant a church in Costa Rica (while managing a shrimp taco truck, but minor details). I had to start planning and saving money! I put my seatbelt on for what I knew to be a long ride, and started studying my Spanish. Well years past and that dream developed into an absolutely OVERWHELMING heart for missions! I prayed that God would use me, I wanted to go abroad and shout God’s love from the mountain tops!! Fast forward to this past summer, where God gave me the opportunity to work alongside a community in Peru, and build the foundation for not only teacher housing but also a bridge for the children to get to and from school during flood season. What an absolutely humbling, and enlightening trip! God cultivated the already burning fire in my heart! So here God is ready to use me, sending me abroad for 9 months, to be HIS ambassador.

What. An. Absolute. Crazy. Unfathomable. Honor.

I am ready. Let’s go! Right now! In truth I don’t know what this next year brings, or what challenges lie ahead. I’ve never ran a blog before either, but I am SO excited to learn and grow through it all! So SUBSCRIBE! JOIN ME!! Let’s grow!

Before I end this about me I want to share my covenant for this trip:

This upcoming year I will commit myself in complete trust in the lord, take every experience with growth and humility as well as joy. Finally, I will rejoice in my God, spreading his truth and gospel throughout his nations! For truly “The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:17
