You Are Essential, You Can Help!
1) Pray: Prayer is the most important thing I will need while on the race. 11 months away from home and serving those in need of help is not an easy task. The power through your prayers will help my team and I to continue to strive for the goal that is ahead of us. Pray that our hearts would be prepared for anything that we may encounter over the course of the trip, and that the people we meet will welcome us with open arms.
2) Talk: By this I mean tell everyone you know. Literally. My network of people can only go so far, but with your help hundreds of others might know about this adventure and may want to help in whatever way they can. Share my blog posts on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Tell your friends, family, and that awkward neighbor you have.
3) Give: This can be through a one-time gift or monthly. It is totally and completely up to you. If you feel as though you are able to give financially, I would greatly appreciate it. No amount is too small. If you choose to give $15 each month for 11 months, that’s $165 towards my trip! Your giving would not just be funding my race, but playing a part in helping change lives forever.
How To Donate
If you are reading this and feel led to donate and support my mission, THANK YOU! Please keep in mind that all donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE! There are multiple ways you can donate! You can sign-up to donate to me monthly, or you can give a one time donation as you feel led. Listed below are options for how to donate:
ONE TIME DONATION
1) Mail-in a check
Please email me for a response card to provide AIM with the information necessary to send you a tax-deductible receipt for your donation with a check. My email is [email protected]. When you mail in a check there is no processing fee attached, but it can take a couple of weeks to process. Please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions and in the memo line write Appealed by Emma Prica

2) Online
You can donate on my blog by clicking the “Support Me” link in the upper left side of the page, or next to the fundraiser bar on top of the page, and complete your donation as instructed. You may set up a recurring donation through this option as well and select your start and end date. Select the end date to be in July, when I have to be fully funded by. This option charges a 3% processing fee, and allows for bank drafts as well as credit/debit donations. These may take 3-5 days to process.
MONTHLY DONATIONS
You can set-up a monthly donation through the “Support Me” tab OR Dynapay is an option for donating through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), which allows you to set up a monthly donation through your personal checking account. Dynapay is strictly for reoccurring donations; one-time donations may not be made through this route. You can set up your reoccurring donation by going to https://www.adventures.org/dynapay and completing the required fields. There is no processing fee with this option.
Keep in mind when choosing your start and end dates that I will need to be fully funded by July 1st 2015, so you may choose to start your monthly donations right away!
Financial Deadlines
1st Deadline: $3,500 – Due 9/26/2014 (2 weeks before Training Camp)
2nd Deadline: $7,500 – Due 12/18/2014 (2 weeks prior to departure)
3rd Deadline: $11,000 – Due 4/1/2015 (End of 3 months on the field)
4th Deadline: $16,500 – Total Due 7/1/2015 (End of 6 months on the field)
My goal is to be fully funded by the time I leave in January. This is a lot of money in a short amount of time, but God is bigger than any obstacle given and he has called me to go so he will provide. Thank you so much for your support!
