For the past two years not only have I been attending classes at the Art Institute of Houston, but  I have also been working as an Intern for the Woodlands Church here in The Woodlands, Texas.  My responsibilities include working with The Student and Children Ministries as well as multi-media work for both departments.  I love learning and being able to make a positive impact on the lives of the students and children I encounter.  My leaders, co-workers and church family have encouraged me and challenged me to where I am a stronger Christ follower today.

Because of the impact the church has made in my life, I feel a tugging on my heart to go out and share the Love of Christ to a broken world.  This “tugging” actually began in high school when I went on mission trips to a coal mining town in West Virginia and to a very poor area in Mexico.  It was such a joy to encourage and pray for people, share who Christ is, set up summer bible camps for the children, and help the community with home repair and maintenance.

I will be graduating in December with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Houston.  In January of 2015 I will begin my journey on The World Race.
