This is Lili (Lee-lee). I met her the day we arrived in Cambodia. She came to our English class for the first week, then suddenly stopped coming, and wouldn’t come inside our fence anymore. I got to share these few precious moments with her through the fence on one of our last days. Here are some lessons from Lili.

Everybody wants to be loved.

Sharing is good..even if you are sharing grass.

When you receive something, give some back.

Always share the love.

Then share some more.

And when you think you have given enough, give some more.

It is okay to be goofy sometimes.

A smile can brighten someone’s day.

Give freely with open hands…

…and a happy heart.

“Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure–pressed down, shaken together, and running over– will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Luke 6:38
