So, I finished training camp! To be honest, I have no idea where to even start with this blog because WOW. God is good. I was in Georgia for 10 days with a bunch of people I had never met, living out of a tent, eating with my hands, being challenged physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was stretched, I was freed, I was filled with love, and I became apart of a family. I learned a lot, stepped outside my comfort zone, and I wouldn’t change a single thing about this experience. There is so much I could talk about, but I want to talk about one thing in particular: my squad.
These people are the vessels that God is using to bring his kingdom to earth. I saw The Holy Spirit within this group, I saw the love in their hearts, the fire in their soul, and the testimony of Jesus Christ in their stories. There is this love and unity that is unexplainable with this group. It is beautiful, moving, and nothing short of the work of God. We are a broken people, we are not perfect, but we have been brought together by a miraculous and Holy God.
We all come from different backgrounds, we have different personalities, different experiences, but there is this unexplainable unity. We shouldn’t have unity but we do. It sets my gaze all the more on who God is. He crafts his creation to be so different and yet forms it to mold into one beautiful and cohesive story.
Training camp was absolutely amazing and it really is because of the people that were there. Being apart of this group fuels my soul for the journey ahead, praise God for allowing his glory to rest inside his people, it makes living this crazy and hectic story so beautiful.
