This day is from Thursday, Feb 7.

Today after worship I went to ICM again, but with Kristi, the other team leader, and Kelsey, who is one of our squad leaders. Kelsey had to make a couple calls so it was mostly just me and Kristi, but it was sweet to reconnect with Kristi while we were serving because we hadn't worked together since month 2. It's really cool to see how much she's grown since then and how different we both are since we started the race. It's a good different, I promise :). When we were at the end of the day, I was playing with a couple of the kids, and Evan (the boy who likes to rough house and actually enjoyed getting knocked over with the exercise ball) at one point just snuggled into my lap and fell asleep. It was the most precious thing. Another girl named Bianca did the same, and then Theo came over and wanted to be held too. Here's a picture of Theo & me:

After watching the kids, I went to lunch with Kristi & Angela (another team leader who's living at ICM). We found an awesome place to get street food right by my apartment, where you can get rice for 25 rupees and a topping for 10 rupees (that's between .50-1.00 USD for a TON of food). It was delicious but it was so spicy my eyes were watering and I was sweating. Indian food is no joke you guys! I love it though.

Once lunch was over a group of us went to a nearby park with some of the kids to take Valentine's pictures for their sponsors. Sharisse and Caitlin made signs for them to hold, one saying "I love my sponsor" and another that said "Will you be my valentine?" Here's a picture of one of the kids:

Later that night Kristi and I went over to the squad leaders' house and we had a sleepover– it was like your typical middle school slumber party. We painted nails, ate food and chocolate, and then snugged up together on a big bed and watched a movie. We're a bunch of old ladies now and fell asleep before the movie was over, but hey, it was the thought that counts right? Haha :).

Hey! P.S. :

I LOVE MY SPONSORS!! HAPPY ALMOST VALENTINE'S DAY 🙂
