Dearest friends and family,
If you are reading this, you have played an influential role in my life, and I am so excited to share the next chapter of my journey with you! Growing up I have always been involved in different types of ministry, whether it be simply serving on Sunday mornings at church or going on different mission trips. As time has passed my heart has grown to love serving God’s Kingdom and fulfilling the Great Commission. As I take on my senior year (crazy, I know!) and prepare for college, I have felt the Lord calling me to trust Him and pursue time on the mission field. In September of 2017 I will be serving with Adventures In Missions on the World Race Gap Year.
The World Race Gap Year program is a nine month, christian mission trip in which I will be living in five different countries for a month and a half each. This program is not only a mission trip, but a discipleship program designed to help believers discover what their specific Kingdom calling really is. Over the nine month span I will be serving in various ways within churches and ministries working to spread the Gospel and simply extending love to all nations. My life will be condensed down to whatever I can fit in a fifty pound backpack and I could not be more excited!
This is where you come in! I cannot do any of this without support. First, prayer is an immensely powerful thing. Please partner with my team and I in praying for God’s guidance and peace. Second, like most mission organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. I must fundraise $14,900. This money will cover all of my expenses on the field for the nine months I am gone.

Between now and my launch date in September, I will be having different fundraisers such as a tea party, t-shirt sales, jewelry sales, and various other things. Adventures In Missions is a tax-exempt organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) and is a member of the ECFA. (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability). Due to IRS and ECFA regulations governing the administration of tax deductible donations given in support of a particular trip/program, support contributions given on behalf of an individual will be used to offset the costs of the trip/program you are involved in. All contributions are non-refundable regardless of the participant’s success in completing the program.
