As soon as I sent out a fundraising email I checked my fundraising page and see that the last $864 was donated by an anonymous donor!!!
I was just talking to one of my teammates this week about fundraising. She told me this story that she had donated a large sum of money to herself a few months ago in order to meet one of her fundraising deadlines and that it had posted onto her account and then a few weeks later it disappeared. Somehow the donation was removed from her account! She checked her bank account and low-and-behold the money was still untouched in her bank account.
When we were talking about how much we had left to donate she explained how all of that had happened and it didn’t make any sense! She asked how much I had left and when I said $864 she freaked out because that is the exact amount she had tried donating to herself.
Today I get a donation for $864 and I know exactly who it’s from. I’m blown away by both the craziness of God and the obedience of my teammate.
Thank you God for working in incredible ways. And thank you to all of those who have supported me both financially and prayerfully in this time of fundraising. God is so GOOD!
