“My heart is overflowing with love when I am with you my father”
As I flip through my journal and see all the ideas, epiphanies, prayers, confusion, and bible verses, this line stuck out to me most. I think mostly because this is what is shaping my life. The overflowing, overwhelming love of God has changed my perspective on this world and has ultimately changed my heart. The closer I am drawn into knowing my heavenly Father the more often I feel this burning fire, overflowing love, profound thankfulness for life. And when I think about what’s next in life, I remember where I feel the most joy in this world, in the presence of my Father. As decisions on where to go post-graduation in May continue popping up I prayed that He would guide the next steps. And here I find myself with the doors wide open to go out into the world, seeking my Father more, and serving alongside Him in an effort to share with other’s this feeling of overflowing love. I want nothing more than to know and understand God more and to witness how He is working in this world that seems so dark and broken. In the midst of all the chaos I want to show other’s that this overflowing love is available to everyone. I pray that your heart would be overflowing with love when you are with our Father.
