Q. What exactly is the World Race?

A. The WR gap year is a nine month mission trip that travels to multiple countries to spread the gospel! We learn to live in community, have a missional mindset, and grow intimacy with the Lord. The WR brings new believers into the faith while also bringing the participants into a deeper faith life.

Q. When do you come home?
A. Early June. Date is tbd

Q. What country are you going to next?
A. Philippines!!

A. I miss you lots but I don’t play favorites 😉 ily Jew, see you soon. Don’t miss me too much <3

Q. What’s the dress code for South Africa?
A. Shirts to cover shoulders and shorts that cover knees. No bracelets or anklets. Close toed shoes or shoes with back ankle straps.

Q. What’s your natural hair color
A. Blackish brown

Q. What’s your favorite tshirt on the race?
A. My fav shirt was my flowy white shirt with blue stripes but is got bleached and the stripes turned pink and its covered in holes. I think it’s about time to retire it. Sad.
A 2.0. My blue Madrid shirt my parents got me right before I left the states. I opened it on Christmas on the race and I’ve for sure worn it every week since opening it.

Q. What’s something The Lord has taught you in the past month?
A. That staying in the word is a necessity in living a Christian life and there is literally so much to learn!! Ahhh God is so good

Q. What do you regret not bringing on the race?
A. An American flag and Chickfila sauce.

Q. What country has been the hardest for you so far??
A. Haiti. Literally so hard. It was always hot and we lived in a tiny compound and would walk to ministry everyday and evangelize or do children’s ministry. Just a very draining exhausting month.

Q. Who is someone from each country who made an impact on you?
A. DR- Elva!! Love her so much.
Haiti- Alex, he was just too wise to explain
Botswana- Pastor Nfila. Most caring go with the flow man I’ve ever met. Forever his white African children
South Africa- I honestly can’t answer yet all the people here are great but I think it’ll take me a little longer to have a final answer 😉
