“I’m tired of mediocre girls. I’m tired of people just being “good Christian girls” be freaking crazy. Be wild. Go be the crazy one when you go back home. Whatever you do, be the one where people know there is something different. Because if you look like everyone else, you probably are like everyone else.
We try so hard to be like the world, what do you think we are then? We as a whole live in the world not off the world, but we start looking just like the world. We date just like the world. We talk just like the world. We act just like the world. What’s even different about us? YOU SHOULD STICK OUT. People should talk about you. Do you realize that the people in the New Testament, what was happening in their lives? What was taking place? The persecution. You know sometimes we look at the New Testament and we put it in this mindset that they were living in constant persecution. They were living in way more Hell than we are. But we try to make it so simple. You know I hear people say that the New Testament church was living and moving and thriving without the Bible and just the Holy Spirit yet we try to live with just the Bible and not the Holy Spirit. How does that make sense? Jesus said, I have sent you a helper Let him move in your lives. Let him move radically and crazy and be outrageous.
I feel like we have gotten this whole “we’ve got to live balanced” mindset now. Balanced in what?? What is there to balance your radical passion for Jesus? There should be nothing balanced about it. You live wholeheartedly with everything you have for Him. Whatever He says do. DO IT.”
An awesome woman named Michel spoke these words to a group of us worldracers about a week ago. This little snippet of her message ROCKED ME. She spoke so much truth and it got me thinking of how many other people needed to hear this and maybe get them thinking a little.
I encourage you to read this. Read it twice. Read it as many times as you need!!
1. Don’t be mediocre.
2. Don’t be afraid of what others will think of your faith.
3. Be different.
4. Stick out.
5. Get the Holy Spirit moving in your life.
