This week was all about saying yes. It was a hard/long/exciting 10 days that led to so much joy. But it took a BIG YES to get there!! Not to mention tons of little yes’s along the way. From eating crickets to concouring an exhausting hike to bucket showers to experiencing forgiveness to praying harder than ever before, God showed up. All it takes is a yes to him.
This week showed me how to be on fire for God. He showed me to live an identity in him because an identity in the darkness of the world will never get me anywhere! Like we had to proactively take on the responsibility of preparing a meal for our squad one night, God showed me how to proactively take on his love. His love is a flame that will never darken, and I want to bring that flame to the ends of the earth! All it takes is love!!!
Lastly, God showed me it takes community! There’s no need to do life independently! Sure your faith is your own but yet there’s so much beauty in sharing and learning with others! We are one body and together, as a family in Christ, we will be mighty!
