Hey there!! Welcome to my blog! I’m so thankful that you have taken the time to learn more about all the great things God has been doing in my life. Being just your 17 year old typical Colorado girl, full of life and adventure, I have been thriving as a Senior at Loveland Highschool. I have enjoyed being involved in sports, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honors Society, making strong relationships at youth group and adventuring in the beautiful mountains not far away. My spiritual journey has been one of trust and surrender throughout the years. Moving to Colorado my sophomore year from Nebraska was a tough obstacle but it is one that has shaped me into who I am today. During this time I was able to discover who I am in Christ and establish an amazing community at Foundations that surrounded me with nothing but acceptance and loving arms of the Lord. Although I have been blessed with good people and multiple opportunities, one opportunity of a lifetime stands out in my mind when I think about my senior year- I’m sure that’s why you’ve visited my blog today. God has put an amazing- completely out of the ordinary- calling on my heart and I cannot turn away from it. The World Race has opened doors for me to travel and see the world in the light of the Lord as I evangelize, sharing the amazing love of the Lord with those in a lost and broken world. I was officially called to be a missionary in Coach Michaels room during FCA one day as our Pastor Erik spoke about the missions trip he took the previous summer. I had already been researching taking a gap year previously. Erik said “I encourage you all to take a year off and go on a missions trip.” I immediately got chills and knew God was calling me to do just that. The first program I researched was the World Race and it is the one that has reached my heart. I have never been more sure about something in my life. After I return from this life changing experience I will be attending Grand Canyon University or University of Northern Colorado to study Nursing. So excited for this journey through adulthood!! Thank you for your support. And a special thank you to my family- Phil, Jennie and Hanna Eggerling for being my biggest, most loving supporters in all I do.
