This is the brilliance of Kyrgyzstan. I am so thankful for every breath, for every laugh & for every day spent here. I was surprised to discover a lightness in this country that I can barely put words to. I feel that I came face to face with a simple beauty that I have not encountered before.
It wasn’t until I left Kyrgyzstan that I was able to articulate what I was learning there. Looking back, I felt the Lord speak to me something that went like this:

lend me your ear
can you hear
when i whisper,
i cannot be penciled in
to your agenda
turn your eye from the clock
without measuring
stay a while
my time will never run out
i persist through the seasons
give me your hours, your days, everything that approaches
give me your expectation
this love overflows
it will not entertain your fear, your doubt
it is not far off

We have happily made it to Mongolia! This is one of the places that I have been looking forward to the most since the beginning of this journey & I am full of anticipation for the next few weeks spent here. Can’t wait to tell you guys about it!
