I wanted to give you all a 'quick' update about my life (I know I've left you hanging for a while!). I have successfully moved out of my house with Dan and am now living with two of our best friends on the other side of town. One of the roommates was unable to pay his registration and insurance on his car and allowed me to use it, while I needed it, if I would pay these fees. AWESOME! I had been struggling for so long to find a room and a car, since it would be hard to get a room without transportation to get to and from my job, but lo and behold the Lord provided! My job is going well, but it is very stressful and, although my income will be down to nothing, I will not be upset when I have to leave it. I have met some awesome people at work that I appreciate to no end. Most of my friends out here in Vegas are dudes, thanks to Dan's circle of friends, but there have been a few girls at work I have been fortunate to call my friends. One in particular, Darcie, has been just a huge blessing. I feel so kindred to her spirit and I love her personality, attitude and everything else about her and her husband, they are so great and help me get through some lower times in my Vegas life! I have bought my ticket back to Michigan for June 21st and can't wait to see my family and friends from back home! I am hoping to do lots of fundraising when I get back home and as soon as I can put my two weeks in to work and let my coworkers in vegas know about my trip so I can ask for their help with some fundraisers. Right now I am at training camp in Tennessee and have been learning lots about my trip, myself and my God. I will have a blog when I get home about my team and my time here at camp that will hopefully be challenging and inspiring to you (my trip to here was incredible and completely led by the spirit). Last time I checked there was about $4600 in my support account, which is enough to get me to training camp but not enough to launch me on the race and far from the total goal. I am praying consistently for the Holy Spirit to be covering my account and that God would work on it while I am away here at camp. Alright well, it is late and lots to do tomorrow morning, besides I'm sure I'm waking up the 40 kids in this room by my heavy tapping on this D key that is deciding to work for me only every other neccesary time.
