Almost immediately after I wrote my last blog post about 'stepping over the edge' a man from church called me. I had filled out a housing app with them for people that have a spare room to rent out. There was a room for rent aboUT 4 blocks from where I am living now! How perfect!! I called the women renting out the house, but no response yet.
He gave me a few other names of Christian women renting out rooms and I found a few places on Craigslist (I should be going to check out one of the houses today? or tomorrow?). I was still wondering about the car situation, but.. GET THIS.. my friend Eric, one of the regulars at work) has a SPARE BENTLEY! WHAT?! So he is going to let me borrow it for a few months completely free of charge. How AMAZING! I now have the freedom to find houses all over the city, since I have a car! I can probably still put some of my money in my support account, since I don't have to pay a bunch to find a place near my work (On the Strip) and don't have to worry about financing a car! I was going to pay for the insurance and everything for the car, but he says it is about $1500 a month for insurance and for me not to worry about it. He is going to put me on his insurance today so I can have it for a two whole months!
God is so amazing 🙂 Just to think about a few weeks ago, doubting our Heavenly Father and almost scared to put my faith in Him. Let his be an ENCOURAGEMENT to all of you fellow racers! God will provide! The money is there. If He has called you to follow Him around the world for 11 months, He will provide for you to do it! Put your faith in Him and trust His faithfulness!
