I’m one of those people who’s always on an adventure. Always with a plan, an idea, something I want to do or somewhere I want to go. I guess that’s why graduating with a specific business degree, in 2009, seemed debilitating for my wanderlust. I didn’t want to make $75k a year running a warehouse. I joined business school in the first place with hopes of running a cafe in Africa, but Michigan State didn’t have an African Cafe Owner degree, so I settled into Supply Chain Management. My favorite class in college was Swahili and I spent more time rock climbing with the Outdoor’s Club than studying for my Logistics exams. I spent my summers working in National Parks and not completing internships like the rest of my class.
After college I started traveling and I guess I never stopped. First it was to the west coast, I lived in Vegas for a while, had my first out of country experience in Guatemala and then took off for a year long trip around the world. Maybe I’ll find a place to call home someday, but as for right now I am content being a nomad, a wandering Christian in search of truth, justice, love and Jesus.
