I am not the best cook in the world (although after working in the kitchen so much this month my skills have improved!) but I do enjoy baking. I have wanted to make chocolate chip cookies since being on the Race. But we haven’t had an oven in 7 months! We did have one last month in Greece but the ingredients for cookies are very expensive so I could not afford it. BUT this month in Bulgaria everything is cheaper AND we have an oven! I was so excited when I realized I can finally bake cookies!!
Now the only obstacle in my way is shopping for ingredients. It’s quite interesting trying to find the correct ingredients when this is what the labels look like…

Hillary and I had a ton of fun making them. Didn’t realize how much I missed baking until we were finally doing it again! We also enjoyed eating a lot of the cookie dough.
Even though they cooked in three minutes instead of eight (Celsius vs. Fahrenheit is still a struggle for some reason when it comes to ovens) they still turned out great!
