Sometimes we think it is the big moments that define our lives. And it very often is. But also, there are so many small moments that are the things that we will remember and hold on to.
Relaxing with our host mom in India drinking chai and laughing.
Riding in Cliff (our faithful tuk tuk that took us to ministry every day) every evening watching the sunset and listening to praise music in India.
Walking through Thamel, Nepal looking for good coffee shops with some amazing friends.
Receiving a bracelet from one of the hostel workers who I was able to build a relationship with in Nepal.
Eating momos and drinking Coke while celebrating two birthdays with fellow squadmates and a pastor in the “jungles” of Nepal.
Biking over the Dragon Bridge in Vietnam and just taking all of it in that this is literally my life.
Learning how to make a paper crane from one of the students turned best friend at the coffee shop we worked at in Nam.
Jamming to Justin Bieber in Cambodia in the back of a tuk-tuk because it is the driver’s favorite music.
Hearing Kenzie tell me of her struggle of getting out of the guy’s bathroom stall at the college we are staying at and having to army crawl out because she couldn’t get it open (Krystal was taking a shower in the girl’s bathroom).
Praying face down with my whole team on the floor here in Cambodia.
So many beautiful moments that add up to make so many amazing memories. So grateful for each and every moment I have had on the World Race. I won’t be able to remember them all but I’ll never regret taking so many pictures! 1 + 1 = 100 because it is the small moments that make life complete.
***Side note request: if anyone would be willing to donate $40 so I could have the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Angkor Wat (famous temple here in Cambodia. It’s on their flag. Seriously, it’s awesome. Go Google some pics of it) that would be beyond appreciated and thoughtful!!!
