We finished training camp on January 8th and most families “teams” left for their ministry sites on January 9th. My family and another family from the N squad ended up staying in Matamata for a few more days. On Sunday we went to a dairy farm and did some work in the garden and orchard. In the afternoon we were able to climb up to the top of the rolling hills and enjoy God’s amazing creation.

Monday we did some work around the place that we had training camp and then had a relaxed day in town getting caught up on emails and such.

Tuesday we did yard work around the place that we had training camp and then most people went to the waterfall. I am still not feeling well and decided to stay back and take a nap. Four hours later I woke up feeling somewhat refreshed. Still can’t seem to get ride of the cough/cold. (God, please restore my body.)

It did rain on Tuesday and we got to see the most incredible double rainbow ever. I have never seen a rainbow with such vibrant colors. It was awesome!

(The pictures really don’t do it justice.)

Wednesday, we took a 9 hour bus ride to Fieldings. Here we are going to be working with Soul Survivor www.soulsurvivor.co.nz a youth conference. We will be serving and helping in any way possible. I am so excited to see the Lord move and love on the youth. God is so good and I can’t wait to get started.
