We arrived safely in Morogoro,
Tanzania on the
2nd of July.  We are working
with a local pastor preaching the gospel and sharing the love of Christ on the
streets in town.  It has been a very
challenging time as this is something that is pretty new for my team but God is
definitely making a difference and showing up in big ways.

At the border

This past week was kind of rough with lots of doubt running
through our minds.  We go to different
business or houses and share the gospel.
People are very open to what we have to say and most of the time end up
saying the sinner’s prayer before we leave.
But through this I have had some major doubts like did they really mean
it . . . do they understand what they just did . . . could God really use me to
reach the unsaved . . . who am I that they should believe what I have to
say.  And then I remember that my God
created the universe . . . that I was chosen for such a time as this . . . that
despite my fears and doubts that God can still use me.

Anyway, yesterday (Friday) we went around and talked to some
of the people we had ministered to throughout the week.  We were able to answer many questions and
invite them to a prayer meeting at 4pm at the church.  Well, our prayer meeting didn’t start until
4:30pm.  At about 5pm we were finishing
up and then some people came.  So we
decided to sing some more songs and then some more people came and more.  We ended up doing the entire service over
again and had a total of 15 new believers show up.  These were people that we had witnessed to
throughout the week that had accepted Christ.
We were so excited to see how God has changed and transformed these
lives.  It was such a reward to see God use
us through our doubts.

Galatians 6:9 – “Let us not become weary in doing good, for
at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
