Our ministry in Kenya was really good and full of
variety.  We worked with a local pastor and his wife
in Kitale.  We felt like one big family
and grew to love them very much.  We
stayed with them in their house and slept in very tight quarters.

Ben and Mama (Christine) have approximately 200
children.  They run three orphanages one
in Sudan and three in Kenya.  We spent sometime at their orphanage in
Kitale called Gilgal.  It is a high
school and an orphanage.  We were able to
spend time with the teenagers playing soccer and volleyball, talking about America, and
singing/dancing with them.

Our contacts also have planted several churches.  We were able to work with other local pastors
and speak/preach on Sunday mornings.  We
also did some foundation work on a new church building.  We mixed concrete by hand, leveled dirt/mud
by stomping our feet and talking to the workers about Jesus.  Some of them even showed up to church for the
first time.

Overall, it was a really great month with lots of variety
and lots of fun.  Next stop TANZANIA!!
