August 2nd but due to lack of internet couldn’t be posted until now.
Embracing Change . .
. . AGAIN!
We arrived in Jinja on July 28th and my squad camped by the Nile River
for a few days. This was just a time for
us to have some fun and rest. So of us
did various things like bungee jumping into the Nile, white water rafting the Nile, and just hangout and enjoy the beautiful
sunsets. It was so nice.
But then we had a squad meeting and they made team
changes. Every team endured some kind of
change. On my team we lost Lauren and
Caleb. We miss them very much but are
very excited to add two new members Alycia Butler and Eryn Glicken.
However, due to a family emergency Eryn decided to go home
and will not be returning to finish the race.
We are all very sad to see her go but know that it was the right
decision for her. Please keep her and
her family in your prayers. God Bless!
