Friends,

As most of you know, my World Race has come to an end and I am back home in the States. I made it!!!

A whirlwind of countries, people, challenges and wonderful stories have come into my life since I last posted back in August (yikes!) and I would love to give you an update.

Over the next few days I will send out a few stories from my last few months on the Race. It’s about time!

Home. It’s been great! It has been amazing to just be and rest with my family in Virginia.

America feels big and fast and familiar all at the same time. There are moments when home has tried to sweep my World Race memories into a dream-like place. Things like riding elephants or holding babies in an orphanage or shucking corn with babushkas all feel like they are a part of me and yet so far away.

But the things that happened this year will always be a part of me. The places I visited and people I met are in my heart. They have helped mold me this past year. And I know they will be an investment into what the Lord leads me to next (more on that later!).

Updates on their way!

Love, Emily
