Hi! My name is Emily and I am from Greenville, North Carolina.
For those of you who know me, going on a trip like this probably isn’t a big surprise. I have been involved with mission trips at my church since I was 11 and have known I wanted to do mission work after high school since I was about 14. I found out about the World Race my sophomore year and knew that was what God was calling me to do. The Race has pretty much been a daily conversation in my house ever since and here we are almost three years later and finally beginning this amazing journey.
I am an only child, but I have the best friend in the world who is basically my sister. I am also part of the best youth group on earth. I enjoy painting, drawing, photography and exploring. I’m obsessed with maps, National Geographic and my cat. I love traveling, and meeting new people.
I am so excited to be starting this amazing adventure and I couldn’t do it without your support and prayers!
