I’m Emily Werness and whoa. Just WHOA!!!
Launch is going great, but I am just so ready to get moving and get on a plane out of Atlanta! The pure joy and crazed excitement at seeing all of L squad again and my team Burning Joy is such a blessing from the Lord and just a preview of the upcoming 11 months together.
That aside, I have a big announcement to make: we have a MAJOR route change.
We were going to be heading to Botswana, Swaziland, and South Africa, but not anymore! We are going to trek a little farther north while in Africa:
December: Uganda
January: Rwanda
February: Ethiopia
This is such an exciting opportunity for L Squad because it has been a few years since World Racers have been in these countries. What an opportunity to take the Race back and represent and share Christ in these places!! Thank you Father for opening the door in these countries!
