Training Camp: Toccoa Falls, GA

How do I describe training camp? Training camp was a time where HUNDREDS of Christ followers came together as ONE. Chains were broken and hearts were healed. We were lifted up and reminded of who we are in Christ. Brothers and sisters who had just met in person for the first time prayed together, cried together, laughed hysterically together and spoke life into each other.

We learned about a lot of things that will help us during the world race, one of them being how to grieve painful losses. We are subject to loss almost everyday of our lives. Whether it be a loss of trust or loss of a loved one. We know that if we don't grieve we deaden our hearts and begin to compartmentalize our lives. Those chains were broken at training camp. Our squad came together as one, opening up, being vulnerable & honest, confessing sin, and lifting each other up to a point of healing, strengthening and renewing in Christ. We learned that no loss is too big for God, He is Healer, conqueror of all evil.

If I could describe training camp in one word it would be: UNITY

1 Corinthians 12:14-31 speaks about how we are all members of the body of Christ, coming together, working as one to glorify our Father. And THAT is what happened during training camp. At one point we had 300-400 of our hands raised up, praying healing over one of our sisters. She showed up with two torn ligaments and a broken bone and left dancing her heart out for the Lord.

Pretty amazing eh? We came together as one at training camp, holding fast to the Lord and His promises for us, standing firm in the authority Christ has given us over sin.

If his hands are our hands, and His feet our feet… then hell better watch out because He is going to use us to cover the earth with His glory. Matthew 10:8 #LETSGO

Our worship Shakes Hell.
