V Squad has all arrived safely in Quito, and we’re settling into our hostels. Debrief officially starts tomorrow, but Incalink, the ministry we partnered with this month, hosted a celebration for us at their Quito headquarters tonight. We have started to enjoy the great food, free wifi, and available entertainment of the downtown district where our hostels are located. We will be here for a few days to spend some time as a squad before leaving for Peru on the 7th and taking a bus ride that is reputed to last between 19-30 hours…hopefully closer to 19 than 30. Today was a long day of travel, and other than a two hour delay due to a landslide and Hailey, Daniel, and I almost missing a bus connection because of a bathroom break, things went very smoothly. I’m glad to be out of buses for a few days, away from the humidity of the rainforest, and able to rest with my entire squad. Thanks for your prayers!

Over the next few days I’ll be posting quite a few videos and blogs to catch up from a month without Internet. Tonight, I’d like to share with you a little glimpse into a Team Kaleo girls night in the rainforest…a little more intense than painting our nails and having a pillow fight. Enjoy!
