Peru is the first place as of right now I will be flying into in January 2015 and my journey will begin! You have no idea how pumped I am about that. I love everything about that. I love that its got a wonderful different language, beautiful children, gorgeous mountain ranges, and there is actually a place about 1hr away from me named Peru (obviously it is not the country). Oh and I know a peruvian that is from Peru. Now I can tell him I have been to Peru and we can talk all about that!
I have been doing a lot of RESEARCH about Peru and I want to be there RIGHT NOW! Patience is key right now.
The first thing that I found while researching is that they have alpacas and the alpacas are a cultural symbol and they hold the key to helping more then 150,000 of the poorest peruvian families. In Peru there is some 3.5 m alpacas 80% of the worlds total.
How can you not fall IN LOVE with these faces!?
Next I fell in love with the children of Peru. The Bible talks about how we are to let the little children come to Him. I adore them so much!
Lastly I cant forget about the mountains over there because it is something that I have always loved and felt so much closer to God when I am on them or around them!
Psalms 8:9 says, “O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!”
