Blogging, writing, journaling; not an activity (if you could call it that) that I do not succeed very well at. Trying to put my thoughts into this will have to start now, because it will have to be at least a daily occurrence on paper. There has been a slight change in my adventure already, so I would advise you to not take to heart so deeply the last post that went up ages ago. The route that I am going on now actually goes like this; Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Malawi, and Zambia.
I would like to take this time and honestly thank everyone who has been supporting my trip since I was accepted at the beginning of this year. I would not be able to go on this trip without your prayer because that is what God is all about, there is no doubt there. I also am tremendously THANKFUL for all of your financial support for putting me on the field!
At this time I have already made my April deadline (raising up to $11,000) and my last deadline is not until 7/1/2015, which is close to the end of my trip. I only have $4,968 left to raise to meet my FINAL deadline which is $16,250. I had a spaghetti dinner and thanks to so many people that came out to it and helped out, $1,375 was raised!
Philippians 6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” There is no situation too big or small, to go to God for.
These pictures show who I will be with for the 11 months(in the orange; we are PSQUAD). God has so much in store for all of us and no expectations are going to be made because who knows what God is going to be doing in all of our lives. The girls with me in the smaller picture are my team that I will be working with when we split up into smaller groups. God knows where all of our hearts are and He will deal with us all individually on this trip. No doubt there, but it will be real.
