This post is supposed to help you get to know more about me so I hope it is successful. As you know by now if you are reading this, I am on a journey to go on the World Race and I am so ecstatic about it! I absolutely love to travel and serve others and would do that 24/7 if I had the money to. I have been very blessed to have been raised in a Christian home with two very supportive parents of my over seas travelings. I also have two younger sisters named Laura (22) and Hannah (19).
I live near the Adirondack Mountains and in the summer time it is a very busy place for outdoor activities. One of my favorite activities in the summer is hiking. In the Adirondack Mountains there are the 46 high peaks and so far I have hiked 7 out of 46. I would love to be a 46er; someone who has hiked all of them. Last summer I was able to go hiking a lot with my dad after I graduated from college and that is when I decided I would like to become a 46er.Below is a picture of my sister Laura and I at the top of Cascade mtn. which is #36 of 46 high peaks.

Here are some more things about myself:
1. I am in love with fresh sushi
2. Eating fresh garden salsa & tortilla chips
3. All kinds of foods from different cultures
4. Adventuring up high mtns.
5. Love loving on my dog Ginger that is a Golden Retriever
6. Romans 8:37 is my favorite verse (Tattoo in Greek someday)
7. Will be a future 46er in the ADK region of NY
I have already been to some countries before this adventure! The first two places I went are Honduras and El Salvador. I went to these countries with my college (Word of Life Bible Institute) on a sports mission trip one week in one country and one week in the other country. While we were there we traveled to different schools and played against their sports teams and then shared the gospel with them after each game. In July of 2010 I went to Australia with Word of Life outreach. On that trip we held VBS at different churches and did some evangelism outreach. I then went to Guatemala in 2012 with a group of people from my church and I had the opportunity to help out at the school “Mi Refugio” where we stayed. While I was at the school myself and some others held VBS while others worked in the bakery, worked on the chicken coop, did dental work, and then others went out on medical runs in the nearby town. The last trip I took was last summer in July. I spent one week in Cambodia and a second week in Thailand with 13 others from the US learning more about the non-profit organization, “Destiny Rescue.” This organization rescues boys and girls from sex trafficking. We had he opportunity to go to safe homes and prevention homes while we were there. It was amazing to see the restoration that God is doing in the lives of his people who have been through so much.
