I have been craving more of the mysteries of God lately... I’m smitten for His secrets.
His perfection, or His answers.

He has shown me over the last few weeks in the Philippines
that He will answer the desires and dreams of His children’s hearts but it will
be in His time and for His glory.
When I was in high school, I had a passion for fashion design. I dreamed up and sketched my latest apparel designs daily. I
went to college with every intention of spending my life in that industry. If you told me 10 years ago I would be
doing anything but that… I would have laughed.
All my desires of one day owning a clothing boutique were
prideful. I had many selfish plans in store and the Lord was very far from them.
After surrendering these dreams
years ago, I invited the Lord to guide my path… He recently reignited my
passion for fashion design and allowed me to use it for His glory.
I was listening to an amazing couple, Debbi and Bill Shaw,
editor and designer team for Jeepney magazine talk about fashion photography
with the homeless for their Filipino street publication a few weeks ago.
A bubbling started to stir inside of me.
Oh, my gosh… you have got to be kidding me I thought to
myself.
reality, Lord.
You are kidding? These dreams became my reality two weekends ago, on a Saturday
morning… at 4:30 am. The Lord blessed me more than I could have ever imagined. I
didn’t even mind waking up early…
God, how do you come up with this stuff?
He BLOWS MY MIND!
I had the honor and privilege to assist with the direction,
makeup, dress and photography for a fashion shoot for Jeepney magazine a few
weekends ago. This shoot was truly
about capturing the beauty of women that have a real story to tell. Nothing was about me.
It was all about them… they are survivors. TRUE BEAUTY shined from their hearts. They live in a dump
community and still radiate. They
glistened like angels and their beauty exploded. The trash diminished… their inner being shined.
What an incredible blessing to serve a God that gives us
experiences far better than we could ever ask or imagine. He carved out these hours in my life
and had them specifically planned.
WOW! He loves me that much.
give him YOUR EVERYTHING.

life.
He gives you breath…
Let Him take your breath away with His goodness and
perfection.
