Call to Missions

“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil,
Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow.

“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.”

Isaiah 1:16-18

Consider with me for a moment the goodness of God in your life. His continual faithfulness, compassionate mercy and everlasting love. I am overwhelmed when I rest in these thoughts. My heart pleads, “Jesus you have done so much for me, what can I do for you?”

God put a desire in my heart to go where ever he leads. To trust him completely and to live by faith.

My missions experiences have started out small. The more I step out in faith the more I believe, “what God calls you to, he will see you through.”

That is why I would like to tell you, all of you, that I have been accepted to a missions trip called World Race! I will be traveling to 11 countries in 11 months. It is one of the craziest ideas I have ever had. And quite honestly I do not have the strength I need to prepare and complete this type of intense trip. I have trusted in the leading of God and I will continue to trust him throughout, this trip and the rest of my life.

“He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.”
Isaiah 40:29

With all that said, I am really excited about this next step. I am hopeful to see how God will use me and to see the challenges that I will overcome.

I am also very excited to share this season of my life with you. I will be blogging often with preparation updates. I will also be blogging throughout my time on the field so you can hear about what I am doing and find out where in the world I am!

Feel free to subscribe to get email updates about my blog. Also if you have any questions I would love for you to contact me personally or comment in the space below.

God Bless,
