This is a very late post about my month 8 on my Race in Malaysia.
In the country, we were in a village about an hour outside the major city of Kuala Lumpur. The team and I worked at a ministry called Desa Amal Jireh that housed orphans and old folks who needed assistance.
While there I taught for a week and then finished off the month with manual labor, mostly consisting of raking leaves and cutting down trees (which was awesome).
I fell in love with the kids and especially some of the older people living at this center that had so much faith and wisdom in the Lord.
In addition to one country, the team and I flew down one weekend to Singapore for our off day and got to explore a whole other country!
