We flew over on a large ship-like plane with two levels. A flying ship didn’t seem to make anyone else nervous, so I followed along. The teammates sitting on either side of me slept soundly while we bounced up and down through turbulence. I was thinking “we’re going to die and I’m the only one who knows it!”
Ofcourse we made it to Manila without a hitch. Everyone’s luggage made it, we had no problems getting through customs, it was amazing!
We have now been here for 6 days, and I’ve been drenched with sweat a total of…six days.
I cannot begin to describe all that we’ve been learning through our sessions with Gary and Lisa Black. More on that later, but I am so grateful they will be guiding us through this process. I have much to learn!
We are now packed and ready to move to our ministry site. Our team Libre, and team Judah, will be working with the Philippine Christian Foundation, which serves in the Manila dump site. We will be living in a hostel nearby – all 13 of us in one room. It’s sure to be a growing experience!
Thanks so very much to all supporters. You have made this possible, and I am so very thankful for you all.
