Hi there! My name is Emily, I am 19 years old and I just graduated high school. I was born and raised in Ohio. My favorite color is gold. I love basketball. I love traveling and I love Jesus even more. When I was twelve years old I devoted my life to Christ and felt called to missions. Since then I have been on a couple short term missions trips.
I heard about the World Race through a friend of mine who is on it now. I was sitting in a chapel service at school and we were asked to write something God was calling us to do. God whispered “World Race”. I immediately freaked out and did what anyone would do, I didn’t write down the World Race. So of course, God started turning me toward the World Race over and over again, I ignored it though, because that’s not what people do! They go to college, they get a degree, and THEN they travel. Funny how God works though.. Nothing was coming into place with college and I was so frustrated and God again whispered, “World Race..”. At this point, I decided to listen and here I am.. Getting ready to leave for nine months to five countries I’ve never been to before and I have never ever been more excited about anything.
