It came to my attention last night as I lay awake in bed for hours pondering the things I could do to make fundraising happen:

I LEAVE FOR THE WORLD RACE IN 100 DAYS

What the what, oh my goodness, this … is …. happening.

Laying in bed awake at night does nothing, it isn’t me putting my whole trust in the Lord and it’s not okay. So I’m putting my trust in Him! I know He will provide!

Currently I have raised around $8000! Praise be to the King! And thank you family for making this a reality!

On June 8th, I will embark on my first journey to Gainesville GA for training camp. In order to leave for training camp in need to have raise $10000. That means I am $2000 away from my training camp deadline and goal.

A wise brother of mine, that some of you may know (shout out to Kevin Welsch) suggested that I start making my fundraising deadlines public so people like you and my friends and family and random strangers could be aware of the pressing nature of my fundraising need! So here are my deadlines

  • First Deadline $5000: ALREADY MADE IT BABYYYYYY!!!
  • Training Camp, June 8th-18th: $10000
  • Month 3 of the Race (October 2016): $13000-$17361 (which means FULLY FUNDED) 

So since I am leaving in 100 days I thought I would officially launch my #ADOPTABOX fundraising effort!

How it works you may ask?

You, your mom, your dad, your friends, your sisters, brothers or random strangers can pick any box and adopt that number to donate once or even monthly towards my trip! Box 1 is $1 or $1 a month, Box 10 is $10 or $10 a month and so on! All you have to do is click donate above on my blog and you can message me on Facebook or email me or call me and I will cross that box off of the board! If have all 100 boxes are taken by June 1st (a week before I leave for training camp) I will have raised $5050 more. If this goal is reached I will let my high school students pie me in the face and I will also let my community group pie me in the face! And video-tape it.
