What do I expect of this mission trip….
in one word:
C H A N G E
a CHANGE in me
a CHANGE in others
a CHANGE in the world.

I expect…
*to be wounded with the reality I fail to see daily.
*to love like Jesus, even when it hurts and is uncomfortable.
*to be the hands and feet of Christ.
*to share the gospel.
*to see souls won to Christ.
*to disciple those the Lord allows.
*to laugh, cry, dance, and sing.
*to hear God and proclaim what He says.
*to be challenged, tempted, tried, rejected, misunderstood, and unwanted.
*to be random.
*to make an impact on all I encounter.
*to be led by the Spirit.
*to be a member of a team and The Body.
*to lead.
*to overcome!
*to see miracles, signs, and wonders.
*to take lots of pictures.
*to grow.
*to be surprised.
*to have intimacy with God.
*to be amazed.
*to heal the sick.
*to raise the dead.
*to cast out demons.
*to loooooooooooooooooove.
*to write.
*to walk in the power of God.
*to be broken.
*to form bonds with my team.
*to make a difference.

Though these are my expectations of the trip, they are really my expectations of life now. So I will not wait until I leave for The Race to live out the power of God in my life. He dwells within me now, therefore CHANGE can happen all around me now!!
