A couple weeks ago Savannah challenged each member of our team to sit down and seriously think about who he or she is as a person… then to write about it and share it with the rest of the team in feedback.
It was a really fun project (if you will) and I wanna share it with you! So… here’s what I came up with:
I am a little girl.
I like to smile and I love to laugh.
I like to sing, dance, and party.
I like to be a little ghetto sometimes.
I secretly but not so secretly love rap music… almost as much as I love indie/folk.
I want to see the Local Natives and City & Color/Dallas Green in concert. Then I want to see Coldplay & Dave Matthews.
I like ultimate Frisbee… a lot.
I love dogs. Give me one & my heart will melt.
My two favorite places in the world are in Chicago, Illinois and the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia.
I could eat sushi for the rest of my life and never complain about it.
I love people & culture. They fascinate me in so many ways.
I surprisingly love mornings. It’s my favorite time of day.
I like to study. School and education get me pumped.
When I have choice in the matter, I choose to eat pescitarian (or really: solely fruit, veggies, nuts, and fish).
I like to be challenged.
I am a daughter, sister, and friend.
I have the best friends in the world.
I love my family more than anything.
I am an extremely faithful person.
I’m not a huge fan of cats.
I hate the American food industry.
I hate close-mindedness.
I dislike licorice.
I hate claymation movies… they make me cringe.
Mascots are some of my biggest fears.
I hate corrupt governments, poverty, violence, and the cycles they create.
I want to do something to change those problems… somewhere, anywhere, and everywhere.
I love the inner city… shoot… I love any part of the city.
I want to live in the Middle East at some point in my life.
I want to meet Shane Claiborne and live a life similar to his.
I know for a fact that I WILL visit India one day.
I want to do a triathalon at some point in my life.
Running = freedom in my mind.
I am a sucker for anything pumpkin flavored.
I like to bake.
I am extremely curious.
I am a student.
I am NOT perfect, nor am I anywhere close to it.
I make mistakes all of the time… and I’ll most likely be the first to bring them up in discussion after the fact.
I am sinful, broken, lost, and small… yet I am blessed by life in God through His death, resurrection, and forgiveness.
I am a child of God.
