CLIMB HUGE MOUNTAINS OF COURSE!!
So we paid $1.50 each for a taxi to take us up to the mountains of SanJuan, which was about 30 minutes from where we are staying. We woke up at 6 AM and were there by 8 AM. We told the taxi driver to pick us up at 4PM….then we all thought to ourselves (there were 8 of us hiking) hmmm we did not pack anything for lunch! Whoops! But that was one of the coolest parts of the day, God provided all the food we needed! He provided avacados, mangos, oranges, and corn! We found all these things along the way and were completely filled up and able to hike mountains all day long! When you watch this video and see when we start to climb straight up the first one is me. Sometimes the video doesn’t look like we are going straight up because of the angle but TRUST me it was!! Mother Milroy (me) had to be a little convinced to take part in this part of the adventure…so they put a rope around me with a secure knot and we carabinered up all the backpacks first! It was QUITE the adventure, i guess i am a true world racer 🙂 and right before this we had to walk through tons of rivers to get there! The day was amazing though and we saw tons of beautiful sights! it was a perfect day off! Although we were a little tired afterwards and we did eat lots of pasta for dinner 🙂
