Oh how my heart is truly blessed to be sitting down to write to you dear friends. I cannot fully explain the love I have for you all and the joy I have every time I sit down to write to you. I feel so close to you all and it warms my heart to think of each of you.

I cannot believe it has been a year of being home from the world race! It has been quite the adventure and year! The Lord has worked in mighty ways!

Today I come to you all with EXCITING news!!! My beloved sister is going to be leaving to go on the World Race in just 5 short months, in January 2013!!! Melissa has been praying for years throughout her time in undergrad and grad school about what the Lord was leading her to do.

I know fully that the Lord has called Melissa as an individual, not just because her older sister did the race J If anyone has heard about the hard moments and the tears cried before, during, and after the world race it was my sister Melissa. Melissa has been called on her own journey around the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus and declare His truth.

Melissa is the most kind-hearted person you will ever meet. She is the most humble woman that I know, the most generous, and the most serving. Melissa is the friend that juggles a million different things at one time just to make each moment special for each individual person. She embodies the perfect balance of someone who will hear you out, listen, and cry with you, but then not leave you there…she helps point people to Jesus, point people back to His Word. She speaks truth. She speaks life over people and encourages people just in the way that she lives out her life. Melissa has a heart of love that is ever expanding for new people that she meets. She forgives in the name of Jesus Christ as easily as she breathes, she does not hold records of wrongs, and she seeks wisdom and discernment from her Holy Father to walk in line with the Spirit.

If there is anyone in this world that I would support with no doubt in my mind of the love she will share with God’s people around the world, it is Melissa.

Melissa trusts that God will provide $15,000 to go on the World Race leaving in 5 months. She would be blessed by your help in prayer, encouragement, and financially J You have been my family overseas and my team in the States. I ask you now to walk beside my sweet sister in the same way.
