Hello all my supporters!!
I wanted to let you know that I will be heading to training camp for the World Race tomorrow!! Training camp is 8 days long and it starts tomorrow, May 22nd, in White, GA. I am very excited to meet my WHOLE squad and then be put on a smaller team that I will be doing ministry with in each country! This will also be a time where I will be checking out all of my gear….my tent, pack, sleeping bag, sleeping bag liner, head lamp, sleeping pad, chacos, etc and living outside!! As I have not really been a “camper” in the past you can see how this will be a completely new experience for me living outside 🙂 And to make this first time new camping adventure even more fun it is supposed to rain the entire week! 🙂 Nothing like God really throwing us right in there, here we go!!
This week we will be doing a lot of team building and getting to know eachother so we can best serve while we are overseas while we work together. Thank you so much for being a HUGE part of getting me to this point in this journey. I could not be here without your support and thank you from the bottom of my heart! A special thanks also to my beautiful mother and precious sister Melissa who went to store after store with me for days and days as we tried to make all the decisions about all the gear!! I can’t thank you enough for all your time and patience in my life!
