This story/vision the Lord gave me stemed from sitting on the ground under a tree on this last crusade looking over to see a little girl, probably about 3 years old, dancing around and smiling…while watching her I got tears in my eyes and wondered about her future and if she would know and love the Lord when she grew up…and from this God wrote this out in my journal…
I will allure her dance with me, my child…
Seeing this precious little girl in a gray dress with red roses on it twirling around, beautiful, smiling, giggling, without a care in the world, not worried about the day or what tomorrow would bring…just dancing, joyful, in the presence of Jesus, spinning round and round…I see Jesus next to her with open arms, kneeling beside her, eyes on her, filled with a love so deep, more than every grain of sand, more than every wave in the ocean, a love that knows no end, a limitless love, stooping down near her saying…my beautiful little one, I love you, I love you, I love you, your daddy is proud of you, your daddy loves to watch you dance, loves to watch you twirl around without a care or a worry, I’ve got you my child…anywhere you are I will be…
But she grew up, ran to everything but Jesus…
The same little girl got caught up with friends, boys, trying to be the best, trying to be the most beautiful, trying witchcraft, drugs, hurting herself, and through it all felt unloved and not valued…the little girl grew up and she stopped dancing…she took off her dancing dress, the one she once danced before Jesus with, and put on many other dresses.
There was Jesus standing beside her all throughout these days, years that she ran in every direction other than to Him…he followed her through life, loving her from a distance because she wouldn’t allow him near her…he was there as her heart broke time and time again. She chased after and danced with many other lovers, but Jesus she forgot…His heart broke for her, his little girl he loved more than anything who used to dance beneath the palms in her village spinning round and round…
And the Lord said…”I made you grow like a plant of the field, you grew up and developed and became the most beautiful of jewels…I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you…and you became mine…I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you, I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put leather sandals on you…and a beautiful crown on your head…you became very beautiful and rose to be a queen. And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because of the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect.
But you trusted in your beauty and used your fame to become a prostitute…you degraded your beauty offering your body within increasing promiscuity to anyone who passed by…and even after that you were not satisfied…
Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you…I am going to allure her: I will lead her into the dessert and speak tenderly to her…there one will sing as in the days of her youth…in that day…you will call me “my husband”…I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. I will betroth you in faithfulness…I will show my love to the one I call…like a lily among the thorns is my darling among the maidens…I love you I love you I love you…
And the little girl said…this is my season to dance, for all the lord has done for me, the ways he ransomed me unharmed and loved me…
And the little girl danced except now the little girl had grown to become a woman, a woman who loved the lord with all her heart and knew how much the Lord loved her and the Lord pursued her all her days and covered her with his love and compassion. The woman praised the Lord all the days of her life, gave him every day to serve Him as he called her to.
And she cried out your love has set me free, I’ve been carried by you all my life, I am yours, I delight to sit in your presence, take my hand through this journey…
But then before the woman took Jesus’s hand she looked down at her white dress only to find it wasn’t white anymore but stained with all different marks, in some places worn to the last thread, in others completely torn. It was then the truth of the woman’s past overtook her and she was filled with sorrow, falling to her knees before the Lord. Jesus lifted her chin and looked tenderly into the eyes of the daughter he had watched grow up from a little girl, now into a woman.
And he said “my beautiful daughter, yes your dress is stained and your heart hurt from things of your past, but give me your hand my daughter, one touch of my hand and your once stained dress will be white as snow…give me your heart, give me your life, take my hand child. Dance alone no more but with me. I know in your heart you love me and know I love you, but give me your hand so that I may lead you in the dance through life. Dance alone no more my beloved, dance all your days with me.”
As the woman took the hand of the one who loved her more than anyone in the world she smiled and was filled with a great joy. As she rose off her knees and took the hand of Jesus she knew her whole life would be different because she was going to dance in the arms of her Savior, Prince, Love, and Redeemer…
