HELLO!!
Ya’ll my heart is overflowing with thankfulness, I could cry (I have actually a little bit).
I AM ALMOST 20% FUNDED FOR THE WORLD RACE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone needs to come over and pinch me right now because this feels like a dream.
I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has prayed, bought a shirt, and donated because this literally would not be possible without the grace that I have been shown through each of you. I hoped and prayed that I would receive support but ya’ll are blowing my expectations out of that water and I am so grateful.
Also some very exciting news is that I have made some big purchases as far as gear goes! I officially have my sleeping bag and sleeping pad that I will use for almost a whole year! I am also hoping to buy my plane ticket home from training camp this week, so this is getting REALLY real for me.
I have been doing a lot of research on what things to pack, what brands of gear are the best, and what each country is like and I am so excited. My only past experience with international missions is when I have been to Haiti. Each time that I have gone The Lord has given me a totally different experience, so I am excited to see how he moves in other countries as well. Down below are some of my favorite pictures of Haiti in case you missed them when I originally posted them to facebook!

I have my first deadline coming up soon. I need to raise $5,000 which is due May 13th!
As a reminder – if you would like to support me financially you can scroll to the top of this page and click the “SUPPORT ME” button! If you would like to purchase a really awesome t-shirt to help me fundraise here is a link to do that! https://www.etsy.com/listing/265714045/t-shirt-mission-trip-fundraiser-for?ref=pr_shop
As always, if you have any questions please reach out to me! If you want to grab coffee and talk about the world race/God/life then let me know, I would love to sit down and talk with you!
And again (I cannot say it enough) THANK YOU!!!!!
All of the love,
Emily
1 Peter 4:8-11
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
