Hello everyone!! This will be my very first post on this blog being involved with the World Race. All of the emotions I am feeling right now is very overwhelming. I am beyond ecstatic that God has allowed me to be a part of this amazing ministry. I could have never imagined that He has had this planned for me in my life. I am very grateful to God for everything He has done in my life and will do, the good and the bad. He has led me to this moment and I couldn’t be happier. Everyone experiences setbacks and disappoint in life. Many even experience really dark times. For those of you who don’t know anything but your disappoints and your dark times, let me tell you that God has something great in store for you. You could’ve told my past self that I would be going on a 9 month mission trip to serve God in a completely different country and I would laugh at you because I doubted me and Him. I am not perfect, however God is; He has been and will remain faithful till the end.
You might be looking at your life right now, and see nothing. You might not know what your next step will be or even a purpose. You might see everything being taken away from you and you look up to God and ask, “why?”. I have totally been there. In fact, I was just there earlier this summer. Everything I have tried to get involved in never worked out for this summer. God was continually saying no to things that I desired. There was a time where I was very disappointed and couldn’t see what was next. If this is you, I will tell you, I guarantee you it is because God has something even BIGGER and BETTER in store for you. Something you couldn’t even fathom. After all, He knows us and our hearts better than we do. He knows exactly what is best for us, some of which are not our ideas of what is best for us. I am glad God continually said “no”, to the things I tried to get involved with. I am glad He made me wait. I am glad to be able to say “I am a follower and servant of Christ, and I will be going on the World Race.” I cannot wait to see what God has in store for me. I know it will be EXTRAORDINARY.
