Every time I tell someone "I'm going on the world race!", their first question is "The TV show?" and their second is. . . "So, what are you going to DO while you're there?"
I don't know!
It depends on which country we're in, what the needs are there and who we are working with. That's so exciting to me. I'm giving up my daily routine to God and his purpose. I do have some expectations though. . . I hope to be
1. Seeking out fellowship with other believers
2. Abandoning doubt and letting God take 100% control of my life
3. Getting down on my knees and serving those who need it the most. Religion isn't in a vacuum. JESUS washed his disciple's feet.
4. Challenged. . . by my circumstances, by the circumstances of others and by my own insecurities
5. Growing like crazy.
6. Learning about other cultures and people in order to better serve them. I hope to get up close and personal with these people. And love on them as much as I can.
