Right now, I’m sitting in a hostel in Bucharest Romania, using the last little bit of internet time I can before we head out to the airport. Travel days aren’t my favorite, but it’s so exciting to be going to a new place!

We left our Romanian ministry a couple of days ago, spent a night in Arad, then headed on atria here. It was Becca’s birthday the night of the train ride, so while she stepped out of the cabin, we quickly whipped out the streamers, balloons, candles, cake, blowouts, and hats we had in our packs before she got back to surprise her with a little party. We couldn't actually light the candles, so we made her a Crypto cake! The next morning, we roll in to the station at 5 a.m. (train schedules don’t care about sleep schedules). We took a cab to the Happy Hostel and threw our packs down, then proceeded to hug everyone around. It’s so wonderful to see the whole squad again!!

Tonight, we’re sleeping in the airport and at 4 a.m.(flight schedules also dont care about sleep schedules), we check in. We’ve got a seven hour layover in Moscow (awesome, but we can’t get out of the airport without a visa : ( ) and then we will arrive in New Delhi, and then we will get to Asha Missions from there.

India will be different. For sure. Different from home and different from Europe. Am I excited? Yes. Am I anxious? A little. Am I ready? I hope so! Am I scared? Definitely not!

Why should I be? If I’m going into a battle and I know the outcome, I know I’m on the winning side. It’s kind of hard to talk yourself into it.  It says in 1 Cor. 15:57 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” How awesome is that?

I also know that God’s gonna protect me. He makes everything work together for good. In Jer 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

So, I don’t worry. Well. . . I tell my self not to worry (And mom, you shouldn’t either) because the lord, the creator of the universe, knows exactly what we’re doing and he’s got it all planned out.
