I’m finally an official World Racer. After a long flight last night and this morning, we made it to Romania this morning safe and sound. We’ve been spending our time trying not to fall asleep – jet lag is the worst!
We’re in Romania until the 16th, then we’ll be headed out to Moldova. We’re in Bucharest, the largest city and capitol in Romania. It’s pretty much what I expected of a eastern european metropolis – concrete looking buildings, lots of people and noise. And loads of dogs! We’re in this little hostel that’s absolutely adorable but pretty tight – 5 beds in a room smaller than mine at home! I’m missing the Ralphster, but there is the sweetest little kitten in the hostel that so much fun to play with! I’m starting to feel the frustrations of living out of a suitcase, on a limited budget and in a foreign country already. No drinking of the tap water – annoying. Never being able to find your things – also annoying! But everyone has a good attitude, and while I miss home, I’m feeling better and better about being here.
I’m trying to learn the guitar/ worship music. Is there any song you think I should learn?
