Stating in Nakuru, we've had a lot of time to get excited about the animals that live around us. We are staying in the area that is where Lion King is based. This past Monday, we got together with another team that is staying in Nakuru and went to the National Park nearby.
We woke up early in the morning and got picked up by a big van that drove us to the park. When we got there, the monkeys were greeting us and I'm sure they were hoping to find something shiny in our stuff to steal!! When we entered the park, the driver popped the top of the van up, so we could stand up and stick our heads out the top. Throughout the day we saw Zebras, Rhinos, Flamingos, Giraffes and so many other crazy Animals. I took so many pictures, my camera died halfway through the day! My list of cool things I've seen is getting longer everyday. We really are so blessed. I came on this trip because I wanted to grow and learn and share love with people all over the world, but I'm also getting to see so many amazing sights, things that I'm going to remember forever – the Taj Mahal, Mt. Everest, and now an African Safari!! Days like these remind me how truly blessed I am.
